1: What is exclusions?
It is a program in terms whereof a player who wishes to be excluded from participating in gambling may do so in writing.
 
2: Request for self-exclusion
  • The Board
  • The licensee
3: Information required accompanying the request for self-exclusion
  • Name
  • Copy of the ID or passport
  • Contact details
  • Telephone and fax number
  • Digital photograph
  • Duly completed request for exclusion form
4: Assistance
Assistance in respect of self-exclusion requests may be sought from the following:
  • Casinos – security department
  • Board – law enforcement department
5: Non-compliance with self-exclusion

 

It is the responsibility or the player who requested to be excluded from participating in gambling to ensure that he or she complies with the terms of the self-exclusion. In case of non-compliance the punter may be denied access to gambling and in certain circumstances in addition a charge of trespassing.

6: Upliftment of the self-exclusion order

 

Requests for upliftment of the self-exclusion order will only be considered once the self-exclusion order has been in force for a period of six months and the player proves that he or she has attended counseling sessions.
